Allieway secured positions for Durham Food Hall vendors at Durham Magazine’s annual Sip+Savor event at DPAC and coordinated participation with the event staff. Typically the event only invites 30 vendors who have existing restaurants and are well known in Durham but Allieway was able to gain entrance for Durham Food Hall through our strong relationship with the Durham Magazine team.



The Durham Food Hall is a casual, modern space designed for community – destination dining for a unique culinary experience. Allieway Marketing was hired a year out from opening to drive media coverage and community awareness about the opening of Durham’s first food hall located Downtown. Our Public Relations Plan for Durham Food Hall included media event participation, showcase participation, press pitches to target outlets, influencer collaborations, and partnership development. Thus far, Allieway has secured 40 press features including the cover of Durham Magazine, positions for Durham Food Hall vendors at Durham Magazine’s annual Sip+Savor event at DPAC, and 2 regional media showcases. Additionally, Allieaway was brought on to provide marketing support for several of the vendors in Durham Food Hall. This included logo development, general marketing consulting, signage and branding for space in the Hall.
