Center for Child & Family Health Leaf Manual

Through years of working with adoptive families, the clinicians on the Post Adoption Support Services team at the Center for Child & Family Health recognized a need among their clients for better support with talking about adoption. In response, they developed the curriculum for LEAF – Learning and Empowerment for Adoptive Families. LEAF is a 10-week workshop that assists families with navigating their adoption story. Allieway worked to refine and polish the design of all curriculum materials, including the facilitator manual, child and parent workbooks, and supplemental pieces. Family-friendly, inclusive illustrations and clear, colorful layouts have made the curriculum more engaging and easy to use for both workshop leaders and participants.
