Tasks:

• Conduct qualitative research and glean insights related to Magnolia Hope’s mission, services, leadership and target donors
• Identify key audiences and map messaging and outreach strategies for each
• Develop core brand messaging and key talking points around the problem and solutions
• Outline communications objectives and specific tactics for awareness, engagement and donations
• Leverage the plan, key messaging, and defined audiences to create a website landing page and source of truth for all other marketing they will create internally

Approach: Our team collaborated with partners to understand their goals, challenges and stories. We crafted an empathetic yet solution-focused narrative highlighting the trauma of sex trafficking victims along with the hope and healing Magnolia offers. Tailored messaging educates and engages each audience from lawmakers to individual and corporate donors. The plan includes objectives and suggested tactics to inspire action unique to each audience.

Results: The comprehensive communications plan exceeded the client’s expectations. We delivered a document with detailed strategies and tools enabling Magnolia Hope to effectively tell their story, combat myths and misconceptions, and increase critically needed funding to expand their services. Our collaborative, insight-driven process builds an emotional connection and understanding for external communication to strengthen the relevance and actionability of the plan. With this roadmap, Magnolia Hope is equipped expand their mission and impact.
