SWAG – “Designs Matters” Event

Allieway was tasked with developing gift packaging and tag concept for attendees of the Design Matters program at the Carolina Inn in October 2023. With owner Morgan Moylan’s passionate instagram following and reputation in the design community, it was important that her contribution stood out.

Allieway recommended leaning into Morgan’s artistic flair and subject matter expertise by combining floral design tips and education with a unique “floral pillow” design tool. We suggested fabric wraps to bundle the pillows with tie-on tags. The tag copy extended recent branding deliverables including a strong typographic voice with beautiful textured background vine flourishes. We included how-to tips and a QR code directing customers to the West Queen Studio website to get more floral design tips, sign up for classes, and view Morgan’s design galleries.

The client loved the concept, even printing extras to use for other giveaways at classes and events. The custom floral pillows – paired with useful floral design education – created an high-value, memorable gift. Allieway’s solution effectively showcased the brand while providing value for the recipient.
