The City of Durham approached Allieway with an urgent and specific need to create a campaign for recruitment purposes. With over 400 job vacancies across 29 departments, the campaign would need to speak to an array of potential candidates. Allieway began the process by creating candidate profiles in order to develop campaign visuals and messaging that would speak to each market. The result was a campaign that focused on current employees, why they took their job, and why they have stayed on with the City. The theme of “I came for the X, but I stayed for the Y.” Was the perfect concept to encapsulate the multifaceted needs of individuals in the job market. The campaign can be seen on buses throughout the City, on posters in City Hall, and across social media channels.
