Allieway partnered with the City of Durham to create and implement the Connect Durham identity — a bold, unifying brand that highlights the visible impact of voter-approved bond investments throughout the community. From upgraded sidewalks and infrastructure to revitalized public spaces, the Connect Durham brand was developed to help residents clearly see where their tax dollars are at work.

We led the creation of a complete branding system, rooted in clarity, trust, and civic pride. Our work included logo design and guidelines, campaign messaging, and a full suite of creative assets to ensure consistent public-facing communications across all departments.

Deliverables included:

Brand Guide with usage standards and messaging framework
Logo system with primary and secondary marks
Co-branded applications with departments (e.g., Parks & Recreation)
Public-facing materials including:
- Feather banners
- Pole banners and triangle flags
- Wind banners
- Door hangers
- Stickers and merchandise
- PowerPoint presentation templates

Through design that connects both message and mission, the Connect Durham brand is helping the City showcase progress and build community confidence in the work being done.
