Working hand-in-hand with the LCED team, Allieway was able to create a brand that perfectly encapsulates the mission and successes of the LCED office. The first challenge we faced was creating a new way of identifying the office. The office needed a catchy, easy to remember name that could provide an overall tone and theme for their work. Allieway conducted interviews and research and eventually landed on Grow LivCo – a succinct way of telling the client’s audience who they are and what they do. Next up was the logo development. The logo posed a particular challenge because it needed to represent both the office and the county but also needed to be flexible as we were tasked with also creating partnership logos within the logo suite. The outcome of our close work with the LCED team was a bold, playful, logo – with contrasting fonts representing the diverse businesses and residents of Livingston County. To accompany the logo suite, we created brand guidelines that can easily be used by the office and their partners, of which there are many. After the brand was completed, we were asked to create key messaging, copy, and to provide guidance to a brand new website – GrowLivCo.com. The website includes resources for businesses, information about the County, and shares success stories that have been spearheaded by the LCED team. Lastly, our team created a brand rollout strategy for the project. This included communication with partners as well as a social media calendar and two months of content. Thus far, the brand has been well received and has been integrated seamlessly across LCED’s numerous platforms. Overall the client was again thrilled with the results of Allieway’s work and engaged our team with another project.
